Phuket International Academy PIASLC Invites Brazilian Soccer Schools for a Friendly

Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS) can be found in Phuket, Thailand, at the Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club (PIASLC).  The best youth soccer training programme is available at the preeminent sports and recreation facility in Southeast Asia.

Successful BSS uses Futebol de Salao (FDS).  The training and game is characterized as a 5-a-side version of soccer originally from Brazil.  It is played with a smaller (size 2), and a little heavier (465gm) ball that has virtually no bounce to it.  BSS Futebol de Salao is offered as part of the PIASLC Brazilian Soccer Camp programme.

Located on the resort island of Phuket, Thailand, Phuket International Academy is found in surroundings of natural beauty next to a national park.  The PIASLC  is partially completed, and already hosting a variety of world-class sports, arts, wellness and recreational facilities and programmes for the enjoyment of visitors, the school’s pupils, their families, the local Phuket community and for visiting professional and amateur individual athletes and teams from across the world.  Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club

“Futebol de Salao is really how I got started. This is my love, the thing I enjoy the most ,’’ is a quote from Ronaldo, one of the most respected players in the world.

The sport of Futebol de Salão was popularized in Brazil where legendary players such as Pele, Rivelino, Zico and right through to Juninho, Ronaldo, and Rivaldo were brought up first playing FDS before moving onto conventional football. They all credit that Futebol de Salão made a great impact on their futbol skills. The International Confederation of Futebol de Salao (ICFDS), originally set up Brazilian Football Academies and Soccer Schools in the UK, and now oversee the sport throughout the world, and have setup professionally managed centre’s in many countries.

Evedrday there is a 3 on 3 world cup with awards for the winners, MVP’s and other special prizes for the best goal celebration. Participants enjoy an entertaining day with face painting, samba music and quizzes as part of the signature event. Experienced professional coaches ensure a highly supervised, educational and rewarding environment. Phuket International Academy Brazilian Soccer Schools

The Brazilian Soccer Schools system is designed for boys and girls aged between the ages of 5-18 with a structured syllabus and training system specific to each age group and each ability level within the different ages. Training is skill centered, task focused and has one hundred percent engagement.

A 5 a side game is a great way for children to learn soccer as it gives more touches of the ball, more shooting opportunities, more passes, more chances to take an opponent on 1 on 1. This encourages children to think faster and move the ball quicker due to having less time on the ball.  All coaches at Brazilian Soccer Schools are very qualified, passionate and experienced, and they put the safety of children as the number one priority.
